How should I dress?
There is not a dress code at Garth Road Baptist Church for members or guests. Our ministry leaders and many of our church family dress in more traditional “Sunday” dress; however, our main goal is that you would feel welcome and comfortable on your visit here at Garth Road Baptist Church!

What are you all about?
The mission of Garth Road Baptist Church is to honor God and help people by going across the street and around the world with the Gospel. Everything we do flows out of that mission. We seek to honor God by participating in meaningful, biblical worship services and engaging Bible classes. We seek to help people through our outreach ministries to our local community and mission efforts around the world.

What times do you meet for services and Bible classes?
We have 3 weekly services. The first is our Sunday morning service, which includes Bible classes for all ages that begin at 9:45 a.m. Our Sunday morning worship service begins at 10:45 a.m. Our Sunday evening service begins at 6:00 p.m., and our mid-week service is Wednesday night at 7:00 p.m.

What should I expect when I visit?
At Garth Road Baptist Church, we are thrilled to have guests visiting in most every service. As soon as you walk through the doors, we believe you will find what so many people love about Garth Road Baptist Church—a down-to-earth and genuinely friendly atmosphere.  During the services themselves, you can expect to enjoy clear, God-honoring music and fervent, practical preaching.

What if I still want to know more?
Feel free to explore our website – you’ll find additional information about the church’s history, mission statement, services, Bible classes, ministries, and more! Also, check out our church staff page and feel free to contact any of our church staff members with your questions. Again, we are delighted you have chosen to check out our website. We would be thrilled to meet you in person.

Am I expected to give in the offering?
No. We don’t invite you to Garth Road Baptist Church for your offering. We want our service to be a gift to you. We hope you will find in this place a warm family spirit, truth from God’s Word, and a place where you can grow in God’s grace. Please don’t feel any obligation to participate in the offering as a guest.
